Vintage 1980s Philadelphia Phillies Blue Artex T-Shirt (Youth)

Dating to approximately the early 1980s, this Philadelphia Phillies t-shirt by Artex is a particularly nice example of period American baseball fanwear. Made in the USA from 100% combed cotton, it features a bold flocked “I ♥ The Phillies” graphic in red across a soft powder-blue body, with the team’s classic script wordmark worked into the design. The raised flock print gives the graphic a tactile, almost velvety finish that feels distinctly of the era and makes it more unusual than a standard screen-printed tee. Single-stitch construction and the vintage Artex label further place it firmly in the early-80s sportswear period. The shirt is in very good vintage condition, with the flocking remaining strong and no notable flaws. Tagged XL 18–20, this appears to be an original youth size rather than an adult XL; at 15.5 inches pit-to-pit and 20 inches long, it fits considerably smaller than modern adult sizing. A charming early Phillies piece with a great colour combination, unusual flocked construction and plenty of genuine vintage character.
