Vintage 1990 Ireland World Cup Cartoon T-Shirt

Produced during Ireland’s unforgettable run at the 1990 FIFA World Cup, this original t-shirt captures the humour and optimism that surrounded one of the greatest moments in Irish football history. Managed by Jack Charlton, Ireland reached the quarter-finals in Italy, uniting the country and creating a generation of football supporters. The colourful cartoon graphic shows Ireland triumphantly perched above a pile of rival nations beneath bold World Cup 90 lettering and Irish tricolour colours. Made from preshrunk cotton by Fruit of the Loom, this genuine tournament-era piece features single-stitch construction and all the character expected from a shirt that has been around since the summer of 1990. There is a partially repaired hole on the left sleeve, reflected in the condition and adding to the shirt’s well-travelled story. A rare survivor from one of the most iconic chapters in Irish football history.
